Planning a window program
A building-wide window replacement starts with a survey of existing conditions, a decision between full tear-out and retrofit installation, and a mock-up of the new window and its flashing. The mock-up is water tested before the rest of the building is done.
System and glass
- Fixed, casement, projected and sliding operable units
- Thermally broken frames and insulated low-E glass to meet the energy code
- Acoustic glass for buildings near highways or airports
- Laminated or impact glass where required
Working in occupied buildings
We schedule by floor or elevation, protect interiors, coordinate with tenants and close each opening the same day.

Full tear-out or retrofit?
Tear-out lets flashing be corrected; retrofit is faster and less disruptive. We recommend based on conditions.
