What happens when you call
Talk to a glazier
Tell us what broke or what you need built. We ask about glass type, opening size, frame condition and whether the space is secure.
Make it safe, then make it right
Broken openings are boarded or temporarily glazed first. Then the opening is measured and the permanent glass is ordered to fit.
Written scope, clean records
You get a line-item estimate and photos of the damage and the finished work for your landlord or insurance carrier.
Installing glass for the desert
In the Phoenix area the glass you choose matters as much as how it is installed. A west-facing storefront in July takes direct sun for hours, and the wrong glass turns the front of a store or office into a heat lamp. On every new installation we start with orientation and exposure, then pick the glass coating, tint and frame to keep heat gain, glare and fading under control.
Our installation work in the Valley includes new aluminum storefronts for retail pads and strip centers, entrances for restaurants and medical offices, window and curtain wall replacement on older office buildings, and interior glass for tenant improvements in Tempe, Scottsdale and the Camelback Corridor.
Choosing glass for Valley heat
For most Phoenix storefronts we recommend insulated glass with a spectrally selective low-E coating. It blocks a large share of the sun’s heat while still looking clear, so the business keeps its street visibility. Where a darker look is wanted, tinted outer lites combined with low-E can cut heat gain further.
Glass that sits in full sun next to shade from columns, signs or deep overhangs is at risk of thermal stress cracking. Heat-strengthened or tempered glass handles those temperature differences far better than annealed glass, and we specify it wherever the exposure calls for it.
Codes and permits for new glazing
Phoenix, Scottsdale, Tempe, Mesa and the other Valley cities each run their own building departments and adopt their own editions of the building and energy codes. A new or replacement storefront usually needs a permit, and the glazing has to meet the energy code’s limits for heat transfer and solar heat gain. We confirm the requirements for the specific city, prepare the submittal and schedule the inspection.
Scheduling around the heat
Summer installation days start early. Sealants cure differently in extreme heat, glass and metal expand, and crews need to work safely. We schedule exterior installation for the cooler part of the day, store glass out of direct sun before it goes in, and use sealants rated for the temperatures they will see.

Phoenix commercial glass questions
What owners, property managers and tenants in Phoenix ask us most.
What glass is best for a west-facing storefront in Phoenix?
Insulated glass with a spectrally selective low-E coating, often with a tinted outer lite. It blocks much of the heat while staying clear enough for visibility.
How long does a new storefront take in Phoenix?
Fabrication and glass lead times usually run a few weeks. Installation of a typical retail storefront takes a few days on site.
Do you install glass for tenant improvements?
Yes. We install office fronts, partitions, conference room glass and storefront changes for new tenants, coordinated with the general contractor.
Can you replace glass that cracked from the heat?
Yes. We replace it with heat-strengthened or tempered glass so it does not crack the same way again.
