Wind design and impact protection

Design wind pressure depends on the building’s location, height and exposure, and many Central Florida sites fall in wind-borne debris regions where glazing must be impact-resistant or protected by approved shutters. We confirm the design pressures and debris requirements for the site, then select an approved system that meets them.

Hospitality and high-traffic entrances

Hotels, restaurants and attractions-area retail need entrances that handle crowds all day. Automatic sliding doors, wide-stile aluminum doors with continuous hinges, and heavy-duty closers and exit devices hold up to that traffic. We specify and install entrances sized for how they will actually be used.

Water management on new installations

Daily summer storms test every storefront sill. On new installations we set sills with end dams and weeps, flash the opening properly and seal the perimeter with sealants suited to stucco and concrete, so the storefront does not start leaking the first August it sees.
