ADA Entrance Upgrades
Accessible entrances serve every customer and meet the law. We upgrade storefront entrances with power operators, accessible hardware, compliant thresholds and properly adjusted closers.
Assessment
We check the entrance against accessibility standards: clear width, opening force, closing speed, hardware type and height, threshold height and maneuvering clearances. The result is a list of what meets the standard and what needs to change.
Upgrades
- Low-energy power operators with push plates
- Lever, pull and push-bar hardware usable with one hand
- Low-profile thresholds
- Closer replacement and adjustment
- Wider doors where clear width is short
During remodels
Storefront remodels and alterations often trigger accessibility upgrades at the entrance. We include them in the storefront design.
